Meeting with the venue unlocks the floor plan It’s Friday afternoon, the sun is shining (in Yorkshire) and I’ve just come out of a meeting with the Head of Venue Operations for Manchester Academy where UKTC is set to be held next January. It turns out my rudimentary drawing of a floor plan using excel was over generous and not quite in line with the spec drawings that the venue has. Using the table footprints they’ve calculated there’s room for nearly an extra row. This means
