We’ve taken a look at how UKTC XI is moving back to its old calendar spot in its new home - Manchester. The release of the ruleset, which respects the heritage of the tournament whilst taking a new approach with a matrix tiering model in light of the new Season’s rules.

Hopefully the news thus far has whetted the appetite to the point where you’re asking how do I get a team ticket, how much is it, and when do they go on sale? Well never fear, I've got you covered.

This post answers these key questions in advance of registration opening for UKTC on Sunday 19 April at 10am BST (11am CET)

How many tickets are available?

One of the key reasons for moving to the Academy 1, Manchester University Students’ Union is the room capacity for a great atmosphere and the facilities to keep coaches fed and watered all in one space.

I’m pleased to say for UKTC XI there will be room for sixty-four teams, or two-hundred and fifty-six coaches!

UKTC will remain as one of the largest Blood Bowl tournaments in the UK, no doubt attracting high demand from coaches from the four corners of the UK and further afield with the best coaches in Europe often in attendance.

As Captain, how do I secure my team’s spot?

To secure your team’s place at UKTC your captain will be responsible for registering the team and spots will be assigned on a first come first serve basis until the capacity is reached. There are a few steps you’ll need to undertake:

  1. From Sunday 19 April 10am BST (11am CET) Captains can register teams at https://www.uktcbloodbowl.com/register (bookmark it!)

  2. Upon submitting the team’s form you’ll receive an email inviting you to pay your team’s registration via Paypal

  3. Each team member will need to complete the coach registration form, which will be shared with the Captain

It's not inconceivable that demand for places will outstrip the room capacity. In this instance we'll start a waiting list and we'll let you know where you are on the waiting list. If you want to avoid missing out I'd recommend being ready to register when it goes live at 10am.

Upon registering teams will have up to seven days to make their payment, and having made payment you will have a further fourteen days to request a refund no questions asked.

However, after this period your ticket will become non-refundable. Although it remains transferable to other coaches either replacing individual coaches within your team or to a new team. This is due to the significant financial commitments we make to ensure the tournament runs successfully. See the FAQ for details.

How much does a ticket cost and what’s included?

A team ticket for four coaches will be £260 per team. The ticket price is in line with other major tournaments and we’re hosting the tournament in the city centre of Manchester bringing the benefit of great spots for food, drink and merriment.

Your ticket for UKTC includes:

  • Six great games of Blood Bowl over two days

  • Hosted in a city centre venue with table service drinks brought to you pitch-side (Ed: you do have to pay for these yourself!)

  • Referees and tournament infrastructure e.g. Tourplay

  • Lunch on both days

  • Tournament gifts and trophies for the winners

Ticket release date

Tickets for UKTC XI will go on sale on Sunday 19 April 2026 at 10am BST.

With UKTC’s prestige already firmly established and a new chapter now taking shape in Manchester, demand is expected to be high and places are unlikely to hang around for long. If you don’t want to miss out then set your alarm so you're ready to go!

Get the date in the diary. Rally the squad. We’ll see you in Manchester.
