UKTC Rules
Below you'll find the ruleset that UKTC XI will make use of in January 2027. You can read about the approach to building the ruleset here. With the 2025 Season still being relatively new the tournament reserves the right to tweak tiering here and there. The ruleset will be set in stone three months in advance of the tournament in early October.

Format
The format of the event:
-
Team Tournament made up of four coaches per team
-
Two-day, six-round tournament in a swiss format. Recording of results will be done via Tourplay
-
Round One boards are drawn randomly, following rounds will see individual matches within the team tie drawn by Swiss as is typical to team-tournaments.
-
The ruleset will be as outlined before and will seek NAF approval prior to the tournament
-
Individual match-ups will contribute cumulatively to the overall round result between the teams
-
Two points for a round win, one point for a draw, no points for a team loss

Team Building
-
Teams of four coaches may only have one instance of any race i.e. it’s not possible to field two Amazons within the team.
-
The tiering of races is presented as a matrix with Team Gold on the vertical axis and the tiering of Skill Gold available on the horizontal access, as outlined below in Table 1.1
-
The cost of primaries, secondaries, stacks and stat-ups are outlined in Table 1.2
-
Stacking: it is only possible to stack primary skills, not secondaries, and not with any stat-ups.
-
A single stat increase may be given in lieu of a skill. So it is not possible to give a player a skill and a stat increase.
-
There are no star players available for any race, as has long been UKTC tradition.

Inducements
The following inducements will be permitted:
-
0 - 1 Biased Referee (Dodgy League Rep)
-
0 - 1 Bloodwiser Kegs
-
0 - 3 Bribes
-
0 - 1 Bretonnian Pastries
-
0 - 1 Halfling Masterchef
-
0 - 1 Mortuary Assistant
-
0 - 1 Plague Doctore
